CSA FAQ's
What You need to Know...
đ What is a Flower CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agricultureâa model that builds a direct, supportive relationship between farmers and their community. When you join a Flower CSA, youâre purchasing a share of the seasonâs harvest in advance, which allows us to grow intentionally, plan for the season, and focus on sustainability rather than mass production.
Each week during your chosen share period, youâll receive a fresh, hand-tied bouquet filled with seasonal bloomsâgrown right here on our farm using sustainable, chemical-free practices. From the first delicate stems of spring to the bright abundance of summer and the rich textures of fall, every bouquet reflects whatâs blooming naturally and beautifully at that moment.
đ¸ What Will I Get?
When you join the Flower CSA, you'll receive a fresh, hand-tied bouquet filled with seasonal blooms grown right here on our farmâharvested with care and arranged to bring natural beauty into your home.
You can choose from the following share options:
- 6-week or 8-week share: Receive a weekly or biweekly bouquet, perfect for a shorter season or those new to CSA flowers.
- 10-week or 16-week share: Enjoy a weekly bouquet throughout the heart of the growing season, from springâs first blooms through the lushness of summer and into early fall.
Each bouquet may include a mix of:
- Zinnias, cosmos, sunflowers, rudbeckia, and snapdragons
- Seasonal accents like celosia, feverfew, fragrant herbs, and foliage
- Handpicked color palettes inspired by whatâs blooming in the field each week
All bouquets are harvested fresh for youâchemical-free, grown with love, and tied by hand. No two are ever the same, but each one is full of life, fragrance, and seasonal charm.
Whether you're treating yourself or sharing the joy, it's a simple way to bring the beauty of the farm into your everyday.
đ How Will I Get My Bouquets?
You can choose either on-farm pickup or local delivery when you sign up for your Flower CSA.
- Pickup is available at the farm every Friday from 4â6 PM.
- Local delivery is available within our delivery range and is already included in the subscription priceâno extra fees added at checkout.
If you choose delivery, please ensure that:
- Someone is available to receive the bouquet, or
- A clean vessel with water is left out in a shaded, visible location
đ¸ Two Friends Flower Farm is not responsible for bouquets that are left without proper accommodations at the time of delivery.
We want your flowers to arrive as fresh and lovely as when they left the farmâthanks for helping us make that happen!
đ° What If I Canât Pick Up at the Designated Date/Time?
We totally understand that life gets busy! If youâre unable to pick up your bouquet during the scheduled window, you have a couple of options:
- Send a friend or family member to pick it up for youâjust have them give your name at pickup.
- Let us know, at least 24 hours in advance, and weâll do our best to work with you if an alternate arrangement is possible.
Please note: Bouquets not picked up and not arranged for in advance cannot be refunded or rescheduled. Since each bouquet is harvested and made fresh just for you, weâre unable to hold or reallocate missed pickups.
Thank you for your understandingâand for supporting local, seasonal flowers!
đ Can I Give a CSA Share as a Gift?
Absolutely! Flower shares make thoughtful and unique gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, or just because. Weâre happy to provide a printable or digital card to let your recipient know flowers are on the way.
đž What If Thereâs a Crop Failure?
Farming is deeply connected to nature, and while we do everything we can to plan, protect, and care for our flowers, unexpected challenges like severe weather, pests, or disease can occasionally impact the harvest.
In the unlikely event of a crop failure or major disruption, we will:
- Communicate with you promptly and transparently
- Do our best to adjust the CSA schedule or make substitutions from other local growers if possible
By joining a CSA, youâre not only receiving flowersâyouâre also sharing in the seasonal rhythms and realities of local farming. Your support helps us weather those occasional tough spots, and in return, we commit to growing with care, honesty, and gratitude.
Thank you for being part of the journeyâit truly means the world to small farms like ours.
đľ How Do I Pay?
